This change modifies gccrs to exclude indentation levels and newlines from its generated metadata files. These files are intended for machine parsing, not human readability, and exporting formatting details could lead to unexpected behavior if processed by pretty printers. The compiler now uses a default indentation of four spaces and includes newlines for its internal AST pretty-printing, but these are not included in the final exported metadata.
