The widening_mul optimization pass has been refactored by moving the logic for splitting each of the two operands into halves into a new helper function, build_long_mul_partial_operand. This change improves code organization and readability within tree-ssa-math-opts.cc. While no functional change is intended, the order of emitted partial products for the two operands may differ.
