The s390 assembler now correctly enforces that the first operand (R1) of the ‘myr’ instruction must be a valid floating-point register pair. This prevents specification exceptions by ensuring the assembler generates a warning for invalid register inputs, adhering to IBM z/Architecture specifications for z9 and z17.
